Marquette Antonio Summerville entered this world on August 16, 1978, in Columbus, MS to Cleveland Smith, Sr. and Mary Summerville Smith. As a child, he enjoyed being in the streets; whether it was playing sports or just keeping busy until the streetlights came on. He also participated in various park and recreational sports. He attended New Hope Schools until completing his school diploma with class of 1997. After high school, he attended East Mississippi Community College until becoming apart of the workforce.

Marquette, known as "Mane Mane", developed a passion for HVAC and made it a career.  He began his employment in the HVAC field with Air Control. He was later employed with Weathers Refrigeration where he excelled as an HVAC specialist earning many certifications. Marquette eventually became an entrepreneur of Summerville Heating & Cooling and took great pride in making sure his family and friends kept their HVAC units up to par.

"Mane Mane" during his spare time enjoyed fishing and watching college and professional sports. His favorite sports team was the Dallas Cowboys.

Marquette transitioned on July 21, 2025, in Starkville, MS. He is preceded in death by his father, Cleveland"Clete" Smith, Sr.; and his brother, Cleveland "Redd" Smith, Jr.

Marquette's memories will forever be cherished by: his wife,  Easha Erby Summerville  of Columbus, MS; his daughter, Ashley Summerville; his step-children, Damion McCoy, Johnathan Dickerson, and Ayonna Erby; his mother, Mary Smith; his siblings, Mesha Sanders and Sharina Smith; his nieces, Abbie Degraffenreid and Khiley Dunn; his nephews, Aiden Jones and C.J. Sanders; and a host of other relatives and friends.
