Mary Ann "Kasper" Green graced Robert Sunivelle and Bessie Lou Sykes Sunivelle with her presence on November 17, 1956 in Columbus, MS. She confessed her faith in Christ at an early age which she maintained until her death.

Mary Green had an astute acumen for knowledge which led her to earning her Bachelor's degree from Alabama State University with the Summa Cum Laude designation. While working her way through school, she served as owner of Vashti's Beauty Salon as a successful cosmetologist. She maintained her tenacity for learning and her determination for success as she climbed the corporate ladder from Mortgage Officer to Manager of Collection at Colonial Bank, later BB&T, until her retirement.

Although, she had a passion for professional success, she was adventurous in exploring activities to include boating, fishing, and dancing which lead to her becoming a member of the Ladi Hawks Motorcycle club in Montgomery, AL as a devout motorcycle enthusiast.

Mary Green was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Bessie Lou Sunivelle, two brothers, Clifton Summerville and Robert Sunivelle Jr., and two sisters, Patricia Norwood and Bessie Finch.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters Martha Porter and Beulah Craddieth, two daughters Lashando (Chris) Matthews-Carter and Anberitha Matthews, two sons, Derwin Sunivelle and Marceau Hogan of Columbus, MS, 15 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, one uncle, Walter Sykes, one aunt, Dorothy Handson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
