Mrs. Mary Orr was born March 21,1956, to Savannah Epps and Bobby C. Clemons in Lowndes County, Mississippi. She accepted Christ at an early age at Piney Grove Missionary Church where she remained a faithful member until God called her home. She was an Usher and Choir member until her health began to fail.

She met and married Gus Orr in 1976. And was Blessed with her only son. Mrs. Orr worked at Sanders and Plumbing for forty-plus years until Sanderson Plumbing closed.

She humbly transitioned to her heavenly home on Monday, May 20, 2024 at her residence in Columbus, MS surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, grandparents, uncle, aunts, and cousins.

She left to cherish her wonderful, fond, loving memories: her husband, Gus Orr of Columbus, MS; her son, Steven Epps of Columbus, MS; her grandchildren, Steven Davis, Adien Epps, Joshua Epps, Knova Epps, LaNiyah Epps all from Columbus, MS; five sisters-in-law, Earnestine Campbell, Annie Brooks (J.D), Willie D. Weatherspoon, Carrie Brooks all from Columbus, MS; Nowetta Short (Sylvester) of Crawford, MS; two brothers-in-law, Sim Orr and Jimmie Orr of East St. Louis; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
