Obituary

Mary A. Turner, born on September 8, 1957, in Columbus, MS, to the late W.C. Young and Lessie Young, peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of love, ser vice, and unwavering faith.

Mary was a devoted mother, cherished sister, beloved aunt, and loyal friend. Her warm spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of all who knew her.

A woman of profound faith, Mary confessed her hope in Christ and became a steadfast member of Full Gospel Ministries, where she dedicated 25 years of faithful service. Her commitment was evident in her tireless work as President of the Pastor's Aide Committee, and her contributions to the appreciation department, board of directors, and kitchen committee. Her dedication to her church community was a testament to her generous spirit and servant's heart.

Mary proudly served her country in the United States Army, where she worked diligently in Human Resources, exemplifying her commitment to service in all aspects of her life

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, W.C. Young and Lessie Young, and her three siblings, Daisy Young Sims, Janie Young, and W.C. Young, Jr. She was an extraordinary mother, a devoted sister, a one-of-a-kind aunt, and a true friend.

Mary leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted daughter, Miriam Turner of Columbus, MS; her siblings, Nancy (Albert) Harris, James Young, Pamela D. Turner, Annie Holt, and Angela Young all of Columbus, MS, and Randy (Roslyn) Young of DeSoto, TX. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, with special love from Aunt Betty Morgan and (Big) Janie Howard, all of whom will forever hold her in their hearts. Mary's presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire those she loved.
