McArthur "Bo Mack" Evans was born on August 29, 1967, to Nathaniel Evans and Margaret Scott Nance in Columbus, MS. Bo Mack was a cherished son, devoted husband, and a beloved member of his community.
A proud graduate of Caldwell High School in 1986, Bo Mack carried the values of hard work and loyalty throughout his life. He was a former member of the Jokers Motorcycle Club and a respected Masonic brother, embodying the principles of brotherhood and service. For many years, he worked as a self-employed bounty hunter, a role that showcased his determination and tenacity.
Bo Mack was a man of exceptional character, known for his strong handshake and welcoming smile. His bravery was recognized when he received an award for saving a life in a house fire, a true reflection of his selfless nature. He had a passion for fast cars and carpentry, where he showcased his creativity and skill, building not just structures but also lasting memories with his family.
Family was the cornerstone of Bo Mack's life. He was married to his loving wife, Katrina Evans, and together they created a home filled with love and laughter. Bo Mack was a dedicated father figure, not only to his own family but also to the youth in his community, serving as a Little League softball coach. His commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering teamwork left a lasting impact on many children and their families.
Bo Mack was also a passionate Dallas Cowboys fan, sharing his love for the game with friends and family, creating cherished moments filled with excitement and camaraderie. He went the extra mile for anyone in need, always looking after the elderly and giving generously to his community, embodying the spirit of kindness and compassion.
McArthur is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Scott Nance; one sister, Brenda Bradley; two brothers, Kenneth Evans and Jerry Nance.
He leaves behind his precious memories: his loving wife, Katrina Shelton Evans of Columbus, MS; his children, Corey Guyton, Markett Elliott, Kennedi Brooks, Margaret Evans and Jamarcus Smith; and a host of God- children; his father, Nathaniel Evans, Sr.; his siblings, Debra (Melvin) Thompson, Jimmy Nance, Jr., Johnny Nance, Sheila Johnson, Priscilla Evans, Lydell Evans, Donell Evans and Nathaniel Evans, Jr.; honorary sister, Adrian Follins; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
