Obituary

Dr. Minervia Scott-Gray, 39, of Topeka, passed on to her heavenly life on Saturday, July 30, 2022.

Dr. Minervia Scott-Gray was a beloved mother, a devoted Christian serving her church and a devoted wife, daughter, and sister. She loved her family and enjoyed spending her time with her husband, Dr. Aarion L. Gray and caring for her children Braylon, Zoey, and Greyson. Her family and her love for Christ were the center of her life.

Dr. Minervia Sott-Gray was born October 25, 1982, in Centerville, IL, the daughter of Elie and Laura (Scott) Mosley. She graduated from Noxubee County High School in 2001 and received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Jackson State University in 2011.

Dr. Minervia Scott-Gray had a love for life, and she enjoyed serving others.  Her humble spirit and compassion was evident in how she cared for her patients through her role as a highly respected clinical psychologist for the Veterans Association Eastern Kansas Healthcare System. She was beloved by her patients and highly regarded by her church community as a woman whose Christian witness could be seen in how she served others.

Dr. Minerva Scott-Gray cherished and loved her family immensely and she was known by her co-workers at the Veterans Association Eastern Kansas Healthcare System as a devoted mother, dedicated colleague, and a humble, kind spirit.

Dr. Minervia Scott-Gray leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Dr. Aarion L.Gray, their three children Braylon, Zoey, and Greyson; her beloved parents Elie and Laura Mosley of Shuqualak, MS; her siblings whom she loved dearly LeTherio (Shanita) Mosley (Sardis, MS); Quartilya (Lionel) Franklin (Madison,TN);  Quadre Mosley (Atlanta,GA) and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Dr. Minervia-Scott-Gray was loved by many and she will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Wade and Alma Scott (Panola, AL), and paternal grandparents Elie and Mary Mosley (Shuqualak, MS).
