Nathaniel Hopkins, known as “Toby”, was born April 7 in Macon MS Noxubee County. His parents were Marshall Turner and Ada Lee Stowers who preceded him in death.
Nathaniel confessed hope in Christ at an early age and became a member of Friendship CME Church in Brooksville Mississippi.
Nathaniel hobbies included playing sports, watching sports and grilling. He was a high school standout basketball player. Until this day, his #4 is still remembered among family and friends. The Pittsburgh Steelers was his favorite football team during his entire life and he enjoyed watching them play.
Nathaniel leaves to cherish his precious memories, his children, Kendall Chandler, Nakimbria White (Christopher), Myeisha McCoy all of Macon, MS. Katchia Hopkins (Casey Williams), Tobareio Hopkins, Zirconia Corbin (Kenyaun) all of Carthage Mississippi, Cory Watt of West Point, Mississippi; six sisters, and one brother, Lynell Clemons (Everett), of East St Louis, Clarice Holmes (Tommie), Mable Hopkins (Early Henley) of Brooksville, Mississippi, Stanley Hopkins (Lisa Bradford), Lillian Gillespie (Julius), Octavia Stowers (Leonard Fields) of Macon Mississippi, Mesheka Hughes of Goodlettsville, Tennessee. He also leaves 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grands; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; special friend, Shay Malone of Crawford, Mississippi.
