Obituary

Nathaniel "Nate" Rogers was born on September 7, 1961, in Macon, Mississippi, to Nathaniel Rogers Sr. and Earline Boatman. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Zion Church in Brooksville, Mississippi. Throughout his career, Nate was employed at several establishments, including Gulf States Manufacturing in Starkville, Mississippi. On June 7, 2026, Nate peacefully departed this life at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel Rogers Sr. He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his devoted wife, Lisa Rogers; his mother, Earline Boatman of South Bend, Indiana; four sons, Natron and Antwaun Rogers of Columbus, Mississippi, Nathaniel Hinton of Starkville, Mississippi, and Jonathan (Diondra) Rogers of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Crystal (Terrell) Morris of South Bend, Indiana; four brothers, Robert (Cynthia) Rogers of Columbus, Mississippi, Fredrick Rogers of Columbus, Mississippi, George Rogers of South Bend, Indiana, and Kulmoris Joiner of Jackson, Mississippi; three sisters, Tiffany Boatman, Deloris Greer, and Evelyn (Harry) Mitchell, all of South Bend, Indiana; uncles Jimmy Lee Robinson, John Rogers, Tommy Rogers, and Will Rogers; two aunts, Annette Rogers and Linda Clark; nine grandchildren; one great- grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and. friends.

Special acknowledgments to Tavoris Johnson Sr., Tavoris Johnson Jr., Trevon Tabb, Yalonda Fox, and Breanna Johnson. Nate touched the lives of so many and was deeply loved by all who knew him.
