Nicole "Nikki" Renee Cungious, 52, of Columbus, Mississippi, passed away on January 29, 2026, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.

Nikki was born on December 21, 1973, to Willie B. Newman and Frances L. Lavender in Columbus, MS. She was a proud graduate of New Hope High School. Known for her warmth and love for family, Nikki cherished time spent at home, often enjoying fellowship with her loved ones and watching television. She dedicated herself to her as a FULL TIME PARENT AND GRANDMOTHER.

Nikki was preceded in death by her mother, Frances L. Bradford; her grandmother, Frankie Lee Lavender; her great-grandmother, Luvenia Hood Lavender; and her brother, Daryel Lavender.

She leaves to cherish her memories to  Her Husband Marvin Cungious, of Columbus, MS; 2 daughters, Abreanna Cungious and Franchesca Cungious, both of Columbus, MS; one son, Marvin Cungious Jr, of Columbus, MS; granddaughter  Kahliyah Cungious of Columbus, MS; Grandson,  Zayden Cungious of Dallas, TX;  Aunts,  Laverne L. Ellis, Wanda J. Lavender, all of Columbus; 2 uncles: Charlie Lavender, Willie Lavender,  all of Columbus, MS; a host of other relatives and friends whom will truly miss her loving, caring and witty spirit.
