Patsy L. Macon Henley was born in Macon, Mississippi on March 7, 1926. to the late Jessie Macon and Carrie Cotton, who preceded her in death along with her sister Willie Mary Jackson; brother James W. Macon and Jessie Bubba Macon; one daughter Betty Brooks.

Patsy confess hope in Christ at an early age and joined Sylvian Ridge Church where she remain until death.

She leave to cherish her memories: two daughters, Margaret Henley and Barbara Branch; four sons, Jessie (Theresa) Henley, Sylvester (Mary Ann) Henley, Jimmy (Venitta) Henley, Donald (Joyce) Henley; one God daughter, Queen (Danny) Jackson; twenty three grandchildren
