Ralph
Farmer
August 3, 1952 – June 1, 2025
Ralph was born August 3, 1952, in Brookville, Mississippi, as the third son of Mary Jane Farmer. Ralph was a quiet child with a warm smile.
Ralph confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior from the mourning bench at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Soon thereafter, he began working as the Church Secretary for over forty years. He was dedicated to assisting the pastor or members with whatever was needed. Everyone knew that Ralph would get the job done correctly.
Ralph never married. He had no children. Ralph was a volunteer parent who helped to raise multiple children out of love and devotion. Ralph enjoyed teaching children how to do the many lessons of life, especially how to put Jesus first in all they do. Ralph's motto is "to do your best at all times."
Ralph was a Farmer, always growing fruitful crops from Mother Earth. His specialty was growing watermelons and cucumbers to sell to the market. Later in life, Ralph was employed by Clark Beverages (Coke-Cola) as a Diesel Mechanic, located in Starkville, Mississippi.
Ralph attended Noxubee County High School as the Class of 1971. He received an associate degree from East Mississippi Community College as a Diesel Mechanic.
Ralph's mother, Mary Jane Farmer; brothers, Tom Farmer Sr and Jerry Farmer; sister, Joyce Marie Rupert, all preceded him in death.
Ralph leaves to cherish his memories: one loving brother, R L Farmer (Mary) of St. Louis, Missouri; two phenomenal sisters, Annie Anderson (Jerry) of St. Louis, Missouri; Marilyn Farmer of Brooksville, Mississippi.
Ralph loved his family along with his church family. He was a master on the grill. Ralph barbecued many meats for his family and many church functions. The main ingredient in his secret sauce was" Love."
A dedicated man of God who will now take his rest, Praise god for 72 years of Ralph being with us. His memory will always be with us. So long, until we meet again on the other side.
