Robert (Mandy) Lane Jr. was born on March 25, 1935 to Robert Lane Sr. and Annie Adam Lane. He departed this life July 29, 2022.

He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Pisgah M.B Church. Later he joined The Church House of Refuge and where he became a deacon.

He  worked at Bryan  Foods in West Point MS where he later  retired. He loved to tend to his garden & animals and enjoyed hunting  in his younger years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lane; mother, Annie Lane; sisters, Elzonia Lane, Etta T. Lane, Cloria C. Williams, Evelyn Thomas, Annie Lee Bennett, Julia Gray, Emma Huff, brothers, James Lane and Jimmy Adams; son, Henry Lane.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Betty R. Lane of West Point MS; sons, Curtis Ivy Reed of West Point, MS Calvin Burnett of West Point, MS, Romero Burnett (Donna) of West Point, MS; daughter, Loretta Woods (Larry) of Chicago, IL Chandra Wohlfarth (Tommy) West Point, MS; Samatha Ingram (Johnathan) of West Point, MS; brother, Charlie Lane of Detroit MI; grandchildren, great-grand- children, great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
