Robert L. Noland, 76, died Oct. 7, 2023, at Vineyard Court Nursing Center. Mr. Noland was born April 11, 1947, in Ethelsville, Alabama, to Johnnie L. Noland and the late Robert Noland. He was formerly employed by Giles Pulp Wood Company and was a member of Baptist Grove M.B. Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Noland and Leroy Noland.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Regina Noland and Gwendolyn Prude Payne, both of Ethelsville; siblings, Mary Noland, Bertha Hudson and Douglas Noland, all of Columbus, Olivia Woodrut of Steens, Jessie Noland and Winston Noland, both of Ethelsville; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
