Robert Lee Perry was born in Lowndes County, Mississippi, on July 18, 1957, to The Late Jim Perry, Sr. and Pattie James Perry. He departed this life on April 1, 2024.

Brother Robert confessed hope in Christ at the early age of 12 and joined Prairie Grove M.B. Church of Columbus, MS. as he remained faithful to the church and grew in Christ, he also graduated from Motley High School and began working at Besco office supply store for many years. After that, he began working on his own, where he did lawn services until his health declined.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, J.C. Perry.

Robert L. Perry leaves to cherish his memories to his wife, Lesile Perry of Columbus, MS; two daughters, Kalesha (Jason) and Lanitra (Jeffery) both of Columbus, MS; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five siblings, Annie Will (Ollie) Harris, Jim Perry, Jr both of Columbus, MS. Anne Perry of Kankakee, IL, Louis Perry of Steens, MS,  Pattie (Arthur) Harris of Columbus, MS; two aunts, Laura Saulsberry of Kankakee, IL. and Charlene Perry of Columbus, MS. along with a host a nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
