Rosa Ann Covington Jordan was born October 29, 1945, to Rosie Lee Covington in Lowndes County, MS. At the age of 6, she was adopted by Corrye and Allen Henry. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Union Baptist church where she attended regularly until her health began to fail.
She was united in holy matrimony to John Jordan on December 24, 1966, and to the union 3 children were born. Rosa Ann was employed at Humboldt/Maxiim Medical for 32 years and Sunflower for 3 years.
She was also a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan. She could tell you when they would win and who was always on the team. She truly loved football.
Rosa Ann departed this life on Sunday November 26, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents: Rosie Lee Kidd, Corrye Henry, and Melvin Henry; her brothers: Allen, Fred, and Odis Henry; and one sister, Mary Furnace.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her 3 children, Harold Jordan of Paragould AR, Ronda (Bobby) Pinson of Tupelo MS and Shannon (Jesus) Hughes of Columbus MS; one brother, Quincy (Eurie) Henry and one sister-in-law, Marie Henry of Columbus, MS; She also leaves 7 grandchildren, April Jordan, Christian Mitchell, and Brianna Jordan-Harris of San Antonio, TX, Camille Jordan of Atlanta, GA, Callop Pinson of Tupelo, MS, Corrye Jordan, and Twaino Moss, Jr. of Columbus MS; 4 great-great grandchildren, Jaden, Marcela, Baylor and Jmias; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
