Ruby Lee Kidd, was born on October 2, 1939 to the late Nathaniel and Willie Lee Baker in Columbus, MS. She gained her wings on August 29, 2026.

Ruby was a devoted member of Bethlehem M.B. Church in Caledonia, MS. Throughout her career she was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Johnny Gene Kidd, two sons, Baby Kidd and Elbert Lee Kidd, three daughters, Debra Kidd, Nicole Kidd and Ruby Saddler, brothers, Nathaniel Baker, Jr, George Baker, John Baker, Willie Baker, John Willis Baker, Eddie Dean Baker, and sisters, Betty Kidd, Dorothy Williams and Mary Lee Rush.

Ruby leaves behind her loving children, John Lee Kidd, Tommy (Barbara) Kidd, LaCedric (Jasmine) Brown, Marquez Baker, Shelia (Late Isacc Lacy Jr.), Becky Kidd, Patricia (Chris) Cobb, Debbie Kidd, Annie Shelly and Willene Jones. She was also survived by her siblings, Clara Bowser, Elizabeth Baker, Mary D. Marchbank, Tommy James (Geraldine) Gunter; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

We are forever grateful for the memories we shared and will carry them in our hearts until the day we meet again.
