Mrs. Ruby Jean Saddler was born on March 31, 1967 in Lowndes County to Johnny Gene and Ruby Kidd. On December 31, 2024 God surrendered his angels to come down and take her home. She departed this life at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.
She confessed hope in Christ at an early age at Bethlehem M.B. Church under the leadership of Rev. B.T Wilson. Mrs. Saddler remained an active member until she was called to her new home. She served in the choir, the praise team, the kitchen committee and the Mother Board.
Ruby's heart became found and that's when she became one with Morris Saddler on July 17, 1987. In this union one child was born.
She is preceded in death by her father, Johnny Gene Kidd; one brother, Edward Lee and two sisters, Debra Kidd and Nicole Kidd, her grandparents, Willie Lee and Nathaniel Baker and Willie Lou and John David Kidd, and a loving father-in-law, Morris Saddler, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving husband, Morris Saddler, III of Caledonia, MS; her son, Marcus Saddler of Caledonia, MS; her mother, Ruby Kidd of Steens, MS; mother-in-law, Catherine Saddler of Caledonia, MS; three brothers, John Lee Kidd, Tommy Lee (Barbara) Kidd both of Steens, MS, Marquez Baker of Columbus, MS; six sisters, Annie Shelly of Vero Beach, FL, Williene Jones of Vernon, AL, Shelia (Issac) Lacy, Becky Kidd, Patricia (Chris) Cobb, and Debbie Kidd all of Columbus, MS; one grandchild, Aubrie Saddler and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
