Obituary

Shenedia R. Walker was born on January 15, 1980, in Meridian, Mississippi, to the loving union of Willie and Jeanette Walker. From the beginning, Shenedia brought a special presence into the lives of those around her.

She was a devoted daughter, loving mother, caring sister, treasured relative, and dear friend whose memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Shenedia received her education in the Columbus Municipal School District and proudly graduated from Columbus High School with the Class of 1998. With a desire to further her education and pursue one of her greatest interests, she attended East Mississippi Community College, where she majored in Computer Science. Shenedia had a genuine love for computers and technology, an interest that reflected her curious mind and desire to learn.

Her life was also grounded in faith. Shenedia was a member of Kingdom Vision Church, where she was connected to a community of faith and fellowship. Throughout her life, she carried with her the love and values instilled in her by her family.

Above all, Shenedia loved her family. She cherished the relationships she shared with those closest to her, and her life created memories that will continue to bring comfort, smiles, and love to her family and friends for years to come. Though her earthly journey has ended, the love she gave and the moments she shared will never be forgotten.

Shenedia was preceded in death by her grandparents and one child, whose memories remained forever close to her heart.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving parents, Willie and Jeanette Walker of Columbus, Mississippi; her beloved daughter, Chloe L. Walker of Columbus, Mississippi; her brothers, Randy D. Walker, Gregory M. Walker, and Cotrial W. Walker, all of Columbus, Mississippi; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, other relatives, church family, and dear friends.Shenedia’s life was a beautiful gift to those who were blessed to share it with her. While her presence will be deeply missed, her love will continue to live through her daughter, her parents, her family, and every heart she touched. Her memory will forever be cherished, her love will never be forgotten, and her beautiful spirit will remain with us always.
