Sheena accepted Christ at an early age in her life and joined the Church of Assembly in Jesus Christ of West Point, MS under the leadership of Pastor Carol Lee and later joined the word of Truth Ministry Church under the leadership of Pastor Clyde D. Poole of West Point, MS.

She was united in holy matrimony to Jermial Jontay Taylor. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, John Albert Tate; grandmothers, Catherine Brooks Russell, Lola Pearl Little and great-grandmother, Birdie B. King Brooks.

She leaves to cherish her memories, husband, Jermial Jontay Taylor and children, Jordan Jontay and Jaiden Jamar Taylor all of Pheba, MS; mother and special father, Caron Brooks (Ronnie) Gillespie of Macon, MS; father, Jasper Little of Macon, MS; brother, Raheem Daron Gillespie of Macon, MS; God-brother, Fernando Phillip of Crawford, MS; God-sister, Sasha Deloach of Macon, MS; step-sister, Niesha Taylor of Macon, MS; father- in-law, Jamie (Tina) Taylor, mother-in-law, Sheron Taylor; brothers-in-law, Jeramie Taylor, Corey Kilgore and Jalen Taylor, all from Pheba, MS; one sister-in-law, Diundra Taylor of Pheba, MS; one special friend, Debraka Harris of Meridian, MS; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
