Timmy Ray Lewis was born January 27, 1973 in Aberdeen, MS to Virginia Lewis and Edward Douglas Crump.

He departed his life on December 13, 2022.

Tim confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Sulphur Spring M.B. Church.  He later joined Poplar C.M.E. Church in Saltillo, MS.  Tim was joined in holy matrimony to Tonya Frierson-Lewis and to this union one child was born.  He was a graduate of Caldwell High School Class of 1992.  Timmy was a Chef and  began his employment with Shoney's Restaurant and continued to the Grill, Applebee's and lastly North MS Medical Center.  He was a hardworking man that loved and supported his family.  He was a advocate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Timmy preceded in death by his father, Edward Douglas Crump, grandparents, Cleveland and Elsie Shinn, Thelma and Fred Crump Sr, his brother, Barry Carter, his niece, Dynesha K. Coleman, mother-in-law, Dortha Frierson, his uncle and aunt, Fred Crump Jr, and Norma Jean Bonner.
