Toby graduated from Huntsville High School, he then later attended barber school, attended Truck Driver's School, and received his CDL. His love and passion for lawn work empowered him to own and operate Gordon's Lawn Company for many years. Toby also worked for Redstone Arsenal.

Toby Jermaine Gordon lived a life characterized by positivity and resilience. His love knew no bounds, and he was a pillar of strength for those around him. His drive for excellence and his encouraging and supportive demeanor has made a lasting impart on the many lives he's touched. Toby enjoyed sports, cars, and his prestigious style,

He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Barbara Gordon; his children, Brittany Gordon, Tabreah Luckett, and Charli Ana Williams all of Huntsville, AL; his siblings, Patrice Gordon, John Williams, and Angie Cole; a special friend, Christell Hollis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
