Tommy C. Clayborn was born June 3, 1964, in Columbus, MS to L.C. Clayborn and Maggie Lee Edwards. He was a member of the New Zion Pilgrim M.B. Church.

Tommy worked for Baldor Electric CO. ABB for 36 years. He loved music, and enjoying time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Willie C. Edwards, Alonzo Clayborn, and Larry Clayborn.

Tommy transitioned into his new life on January 20, 2025.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his children, Tommy (Beverly) Clayborn, Jr of Columbus, MS and Austin Clayborn of Aberdeen, MS, and Briana Clayborn of Columbus, MS; two sister, Marilyn (Lowrenzo) Sims and Rozie Wilson; two brothers, Curtis (Linda) Edwards and John (Sandy) Edwards; five grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
