Tracy L. Wilson was born January 14, 1974 in Crawford, MS to Christean Wilson and Eddie Jones. She departed this life on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Tracy confessed faith in Christ at an early age and joined the Oakland Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. J. H. Cockrell.
Tracy was a graduate of West Lowndes High School, Class of 1994. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts from Sullivan University in Lexington, Kentucky.
Tracy enjoyed cooking and sharing her culinary creations with her family and many in the community. Her specialties were her fish, chicken wings, philly steak sandwich, and hamburgers.
Tracy loved to have fun and spending time with her family. No matter who she met, she always met them with a smile. She loved a good laugh and above all else, she loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart.
Tracy was preceded in death by her daughter, Nikita V. Coleman, maternal grandparents, Mary May and Lucious Wilson and paternal grandparents, Essie M. Wilson and Moses Brooks, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her children: Santonio Wilson, Christopher (Lanceri) Parson, Sr., Shametra (Eddie) Coleman, McKayla Coleman, and Iyania Coleman; adopted son, Trevor Skinner; parents, Henry and Christean Brooks and Eddie Jones; siblings, Ray (Cyndy) Wilson, Tatisha Brooks and Kimyada (Anthony) Mays; grandchildren, Sakhia, Carmen, Garrett, Angelo, Christopher, Jr., and Patience; aunts, Mary Hart, Anita (Robert) Jackson, Mary (Larry) McIntire, Dorothy Burrell, Phyllis (Larry) Shelton, Hazel Franklin, and Ann (Ringo) Harris; uncles, Lonnie May, James (Sarah) Brooks, Moses (Thelma) Brooks, Jr., Charlie Brooks, David (Betty) Brooks, and Leslie (Vanessa) Brooks; Godchildren, Leo Mendez, Antonio Wells, Felix Edwards, and Hearvin Chandler; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
