Tyrone was born April 24, 1963, in Columbus, MS to Albert Davis and Lena Johnson.  At the age of 16 months, Tyrone and his twin brother, Jerome were adopted by Clyde and Ruby Hairston. He attended Columbus City Schools and Lowndes County Schools.  He worked in various positions in the food service industry.

His biological relatives who preceded him in death were his mother and father, Albert Davis and Lena Johnson, his brothers, Alfred Bonner, Frank Johnson, along with his grandparents, Mr. Jimmy and Mrs. Alberta Bonner, and Mr. Frank and Mrs. Fannie Johnson.

His adopted relatives who preceded him in death were his mother, Mrs. Ruby Hairston; and his grandparents, Mr. Trenton and Mrs. Mattie Harton and Mr. Norah Hairston and Mrs. Bessie Hairston.

His surviving biological siblings are Jerome Hairston, Shiela Johnson Harris, Ezzell (Annie) Johnson, Linda (Calvin) Walker, Dione Johnson, Rhonda (Adam) Owens, Rodney Massey, Debra(Melvin) Thompson  and Lauretta and Arnetta Davis.

His surviving adopted relatives are his father, Clyde Hairston; his sisters, Frieda (Henry) Brown and Marilyn Hairston.

He also leaves behind his lifelong best friend, Reverend Dedrick Anderson, Classmates of Class of 1981, along with numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

In lieu of a repast, the family will fellowship at 201 23rd Street South, Columbus, MS.
