Virginia Aaron was born in Columbus, MS on June 2, 1951 to Ethel Wilson and William Lashley. She passed away on May 21, 2026 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.Virginia attend schools at Mitchell Memorial and R.E. Hunt High School. She was a lifelong resident of Columbus, MS and she worked as the Supervisor for Microtek Medical for many years, she also worked for Baptist Memorial Hospital and Ability Works as a supervisor.She confessed Christ at St. Paul M.B. Church. She later went on to join Mt. Ary M.B. Church where she served many roles in the church such as: Secretary, Clerk and was passionate about her service as Choir Director for over 20 years. In 2015 she joined vibrant church where she was a faithful member and friend.She loved her family immensely. She showed love through her delicious cooking, sharing God’s love, and spoiling her grand great-grandchildren. She loved to express herself through fashion. Pant suits, scarfs, boots and jewelry were her staples. If you knew her, her greatest service was helping others. A meal, a hug, a ride or money, she never left anyone in need.Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Freddie Davis and Johnny Lashley and one sister, Mary J. Davis Clayborn.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her children, Tanya (Chris) Webb of Griffin, GA, Thomas Ramone (Cierra) Aaron of Douglasville, GA, Crystal Aaron of Columbus, MS, Christina (Johnathan) Davis of Starkville, MS and her step-son Jervais Billups of Columbus, MS; her grandchildren, Trevor, Alexander, Tywon, Mishaela, Anajee, Tanyia, Thomas, Jr., Jordyn, Ayden, Tiara, Ariya and Chloe; her husband, Thomas Lee Aaron, her siblings, Jimi Mosley, Rose Robertson, Johnny (Gloria) Lash, Floyd Lash, Lloyd Lash, Joe Lash, Elijah (Helen) Lash; a special niece, Lander (Stanley) Jones; three special friends, Lynette Williams, Lourine Smith and Curlie Taylor; her God Daughter, Audra Barry Williams, 6 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
