Walter B. Dancy, born March 29, 1973 and entered eternal life November 23, 2024 at the age of 51.

Walter was born to the late Maggie Moore and Walter Moore. Walter accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Maggie & Walter Moore, two brothers, Charlie Dancy Jr., John Earl Dancy, two sisters, Icey Dancy and Maggie Lee Stewart.

Walter attended elementary and middle school in Macon, MS. He graduated with honors from Noxubee County High School Class of 1991. He received an Associates degree from East Mississippi Community College.

Walter was a truly remarkable man whose life was defined by his unwavering kindness, deep compassion, and dedication to his family and community. He touched countless lives with his infectious smile and laugh, generous spirit, and unwavering support for his family. Walter will be deeply missed, but his legacy of pure love and service to all he encountered will forever remain in our hearts.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters, Georgia Augustus of Macon, MS, Zula Dancy of Macon, MS, and Irene Dancy of Brooksville, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
