Willie Henry was born June 29, 1949 in Columbus, MS to Tim and Lula B. Henry.  He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at New Baptist Temple under the leadership of Pastor J. W. Jethrow.

On June 29, 1985, Willie L. Henry was united in matrimony to the beautiful Geraldine Caine, the love of his life.  From this union, they raised one daughter, Latonya Caine.

Willie Henry worked for Malco Theaters for many years before his retirement.  He later started working for Baldor Electrics in 1996 where he was still employed until his death.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time with his daughter, talking with his family, and working in the yard.  He also enjoyed watching boxing, JSU basketball, and his favorite western, Gunsmoke.

Willie was a man of few words, but he enjoyed working at his job.  He loved his daughter more than anything.  Willie was always nice and greeted people with a smile that crossed his path.  He was a humble and upstanding man.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine Caine Henry; parents Tim Henry and Lula Blair Henry; three brothers Willie James Henry, Tim Woods and Bennie Will; three sisters Bessie Saffore, Lillie Glenn, and Gracie Harrison.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving daughter, Latonya Caine of Smyrna, GA; one sister Annie Wilson of Columbus MS; two brothers Johnny Henry and Flozell Henry, his twin, both of Columbus MS; and a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
