James Abrams

Willie James Abrams was born to the union of the late Eula and Beulah Jeffries Abrams on February 28, 1954, the second oldest born to this union.
Willie confessed faith in Christ and was baptized and united with Smith Chapel C. M. E. Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Nathan Armistad.
Willie attended Concord Elementary School and New Hope High School in Lowndes County. After leaving school, he lived in St. Louis, MO, Chicago, IL and Muskegon, MI before returning home in July 2024. Willie had a broad skillset and his last place of employment was Eagle Corporation, Muskegon, MI.
To hold him close in memories, Willie leaves his mother, Mrs. Beulah Abrams of Columbus, MS; two sons, Javonta Guyton of Columbus, MS and Anthony Joseph Boyd of Chicago, IL four sisters, Ular (Jeffrey) Williams; Fannie Abrams; Annette (Roscoe) Bradley all of Columbus, MS, Mary Hood of Raleigh, NC and Diane Singleton of Peoria, IL; three brothers, Larry Abrams of Tupelo, MS, Billy McShan of Columbus, MS and Joe (Felecia) Abrams of Stone Mountain, GA; a special friend, Mrs. Fannie "T" Turner; and a host aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
