Willie Lee Joiner, known to family and friends as "Philip", was born August 18, 1942 in Noxubee County, MS to Addie B. and Isaac Joiner, Sr. He was employed with Airline Manufacturing Company until he retired.
Willie was united in holy matrimony to the late Ida B. Joiner in April of 1987.

Willie transitioned from this earthly life on June 26, 2024 in Columbus, MS. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his two brothers: David Joiner and Isaac Joiner, Jr.; one sister, Easter Davis; and a nephew, Arlandus Wilson; a great niece, Antwanna Taylor.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories: five siblings, Eddie (Annie) Joiner, Alice Joiner, Curtis Joiner, and Joyce Joiner−Manigo all of Columbus, MS, and James (Linda) Joiner of Montgomery, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
