Willie B. Scott was born August 18, 1949 in Columbus, MS to Willie Mitchell and Lizzie Scott.  He transitioned from this life on January 21, 2021 at Vineyard Court Nursing Home in Columbus, MS.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings: Margaret Nance, Polly Hearn, Lucille Clay, Doris Farrow, Barbara Mitchell, Edward Mitchell, Larry Mitchell, Preston Douglas Scott, and Michael Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memories:  his siblings, Raymond Scott of Columbus, MS, James Scott of Killeen, TX, Lillie Mae Miller, Virginia Scott, Wilma Jean Scott all of Columbus, MS, Lisa (Michael) Ringer of Lithonia, GA, Alice Williams, Brenda (Henry) Ferguson, Jewell (Adam) Jones, and Jacqueline (Michael) Murray all of Columbus, MS.  He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
