Mrs. Willie Mildred Bash Spann entered this world on October 24, 1943 in Starkville, MS to Curtis and Sadie Bash.
She accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age at Truevine M.B. Church. Later in life, she joined Greater Mt. Olive M.B. Church where she remained a member for most of her life. Willie was employed with Johnston Tombigbee Furniture Company for 32 years until retirement. Willie Mildred lived a simple life, but full of love. She enjoyed being around her home with family and friends, cooking and cleaning.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Curly Spann; her siblings, Jeanette Wallace, Andrew Lee Bash, Sonny Cunningham, and Eddie Walker.
Willie Mildred leaves to cherish her loving memories: her children, Connie (Johnny) Buckhalter of Columbus, MS, Earnest (Bobbie) Bash of Columbia, TN; her step-children, Juanita Spann and Curtis (Lora) Spann of Columbus, MS; Siblings, Walter C. (Pamela) Wallace of Grand Rapids, MI, James Wallace of Greensboro, AL, Linda Bash of Birmingham, AL, Tommie Johnson of Jackson, MS, Sammie Fulton of Flint, MI; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
