Yolanda Faye
Hackett-Lowe
November 16, 1962 – January 28, 2025
Yolanda Faye Hackett-Lowe so affectionately known to family as "Faye" and to many friends as "Yo" was born November 16, 1962 to the late Charles Hackett and the late Helen Delores Rush in Columbus, MS. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a member until joining Faith and Deliverance Outreach Missions Ministries (FDOMM) in Mableton, Georgia. She graduated from Caledonia High School and was also a student at East Mississippi Community College. Yolanda worked in many facets and was well known and loved by many. In addition to traveling, Yolanda enjoyed spending time with her family and watching Super Market Sweep.
In addition to her parents, Yolanda is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Benjamin and Lula Rush; her uncle Bennie D. Rush; and her loving nephew Demarcus Vaughn.
On November 2, 1986 Yolanda was united in Holy Matrimony to her high-school sweetheart Willie E. Lowe Jr. and to this union five children were born.
Yolanda's memories will forever be cherished by her devoted husband of 38 years and her children, Keon (Memory) Hackett of Douglasville, GA, Wilonda (Oscar) Clemons of Columbus, MS, Willie (Ar'Tasiya) Lowe of Jackson, MS, Shalonda Lowe and Benjamin (J'Shunna Calvert) Lowe of Columbus, MS; her brother, Dwayne (Katherine) Hackett of Starkville, MS and sisters, Keshia (Ronald) Hart of Columbus, MS, Christine (James) Wilks and Lorraine Hackett both of Los Angeles, CA. Her grandchildren Germon, Tahjae, Joseph, Dee, Leaya, Madison, Jaeden, Jaida, and Brein that so lovingly called her "Nana" and her great-grandchildren, Kyng, Royal, and Messiah who adored their "GiGi"; her loving sister-in-love, Joyce Vaughn, Robbie Green, Eddie Washington, and Emma Tillman. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
