Annie Ivy was born on April 23, 1934 in Macon, MS to Jessie and Rebecca Ivy. She departed this life on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

Annie made Jesus Christ the Lord of her life at an early age and attended Christian Love M. B. Church in Macon, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Rebecca Ivy; three children, Jimmie Ivy, Corean Williams and Henry Ivy; one grandson, Timothy Ivy Sr.; five sisters, Annie B. Pryor, Rebecca Ivy, Ceda B. Singleton, Luedella Ivy, Rosemary Ivy; and two brothers, Jack Ivy and Grant Ivy.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories; four children, Wendell (Gloria) Ivy of Kalamazoo, MI, Robert Ivy, Gloria (Perry) Gordon and Dorothy (Sammy) Harmon all of Macon, MS. She leaves to cherish 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She also leaves behind two close friends: Queen Harris and Mary Taylor.
