Obituary

Betty H. Beasley, also known as "Shug" was born on December 19, 1952 to Zan and Earnest Bland.

Betty accepted Christ at an early age at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and later at New Jerusalem Church. She was a dedicated, faithful and devoted church member who loved the Lord with all her heart.

She made her transition to be with the Lord on January 2, 2025 in Jackson, MS.

Betty is preceded in death by her dad Earnest Bland Sr., her mom, Zan Bland, her brother, Earnest Bland Jr., her brother, Earnest George Bland, and her sister, Dorothy Moore.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Victoria McIntosh of Macon, MS, Katina Brandy (Kevin) of Macon, MS and Kisha Stidman Jackson (Corey) of Jackson, MS; four sisters, Earnestine Mickens (Uyless), Ada Windham, Rye Weston all of Macon, MS and Annie Bryant of Port Arthur, Texas. Betty was blessed with nine grandchildren, Sheniqua Stidman Idom (Ryan), Zaneshia Brandy, Shaleita Stidman, Shatoria Bland, Braxton Stidman, Jada McIntosh, Ethan McIntosh, Elye McIntosh, and Kevin Brandy Jr. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren. She leaves to cherish several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of many other relatives and friends.
