Betty Gray entered this life on March 10, 1958, to the parents of Harvey and Mollie Gray in Crawford, MS. She was very upbeat in her childhood days. Betty enjoyed family and friends sharing great times and laughter. Betty was a wonderful person, full of life and never sad. She attended West Lowndes Schools earning her high school diploma with the class of 1977. While in high school, she participated in athletics. She continued her education at Mary Holmes Community College. Betty was employed with Johnston Tombigbee for several years until transitioning to personal care as CNA with Aurora Nursing home.

Betty departed this life on November 18, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital GT in Columbus, MS.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Devotie Gray and Leroy Gray.

Betty's memories will forever be cherished by: her children: Stephanie Landrum and Michael M. Gray both of Columbus, MS; her grandchildren, Darjavious Gray, Amaree Gray, Sammy Salter, Jr., Bella Salter, Tyrese Gray, and Shantoyia Tate; her siblings, Earnestine (Jack) Hendricks, Bobby Gray, Daniel Gray, and Stanley Gray all of Crawford, MS, Deloris (Legare) Morgan of Columbus, MS; two  uncles, T.C. Lowery and Clarence Lowery;  special friends, Mary Conner, Gerladine Farmer, and Brenda Buchanan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
