Obituary

Betty Lou Price was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 31, 1959. She later moved to Columbus, MS and grew up on Martin Luther King Drive, where attended Steven Chapel and accepted Christ at an early age.

Betty eventually moved back to Los Angeles, CA where she spent most of her life. She loved shopping, waking up early to meditate with God, watching Judge Judy and Law-in-Order with her cup of coffee, and was a faithful member to the church.

After she left Los Angeles, CA she permanently resided in Columbus, MS where she met her husband, Otis Price. She rededicated her life to Christ at United Faith Interdenominational Church until God called her home.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Price, her siblings, Deborah Thompson, Jimmy Alexander, Doris Thompson, Johnny Thompson, and Barbara Thompson.

Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Shemmeka Thompson and Douglas Thompson both of Columbus, MS and Tommie Lee Baker III of Los Angeles, CA; her mother, Susie Thompson of Columbus, MS; her siblings, Susie Mae Thompson, Rita Thompson, Lonnell Thompson, Anthony Thompson, Kelly Thompson, Jean (Portis) Johnson, Will Thompson and Carol Harris; her grandchildren,  Alexis (Isaac) Williams, Ashley Vance, Amaiya (Xaier) Bennett, Makylon Vance, Akiya Vance, Bryanna R. Baker, Asia Thompson, Emily Thompson, and Katherine Thompson; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
