Bobbie Jean
Hill
August 31, 1942 – February 16, 2023
Mrs. Bobbie Jean Hill was born on August 31, 1942 to the late Earleen and Joseph "Joe" Brown, Sr.
She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully under the leadership of Rev. Otis Johnson. Later, she joined Southside Missionary Baptist Church where she continued to work faithfully for the Lord, under the leadership of several pastors, now under the leadership of Pastor Rayfield Evins, Jr. During her Christian journey she served as a member of the Adult Choir, Mass Choir, Mothers' Ministry, Missionary Ministry, BTU Ministry, New Members' Ministry, and a loyal Sunday school student. Serving the Lord was one of the most important emphasis she expressed in her life as well as loving her church family so dearly.
She loved her family and adored her children and grandchildren, known as "Mother" to many and would greet you with "Hey Love." Sister Hill was a true Southern Belle, revered for her classy but sassy fashion sense. She was employed at Three Sisters and Fashion Barn for many years.
Mrs. Bobbie departed this life on February 16, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.
