Bordrick Lydell Scott, Sr., affectionately known as Bo, was born on May 28, 1971, in Columbus, Mississippi, to Eddie Lee and Clarareasie Scott. Bo was a cherished son, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose quiet demeanor was balanced by a warm sense of humor and a love for laughter.
Bo had a passion for music and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he enjoyed watching classic television shows, especially Westerns and Sanford & Son, which brought him much happiness.
His faith was a cornerstone of his life. Bo confessed his faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of Mt. Olive M.B. Church, where his spirit and commitment to his beliefs were a source of strength to those who knew him.
Bo cultivated a strong work ethic during his time at the Ranch House, where he developed skills that reflected his dedication and integrity.
On December 14, 2025, Bo peacefully passed away at his residence, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew Hayden, Sr., Alice Hayden, Mattie D. Scott, and Williams Jamison; a beloved mother-in-love, Mary Lowery; and his stepmother, Dr. Rhonda L. Scott.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Clarareasie H. Scott and Eddie Lee Scott; his children, Bordrick L. Scott, Jr. and Shantrell Scott of Southaven, Mississippi; his siblings, Chasity Scott, Javonte Scott, and Shannon Scott of Columbus, Mississippi; Ricco Boles of Dallas, Texas; Demetra (Sherman) Davis of Atlanta, Georgia; Nakeetsha Dryer of Huntsville, Alabama; Arlando (Fredricka) Boles of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; Audreia (James) Jennings and Triece (Victor) Stewart of Columbus, Mississippi. He also leaves to cherish his memory five grandchildren, Karson Walker, Kali Walker, Aubrey Scott, Janiyah Scott, and King Scott, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Bo's life was a testament to quiet strength, faithful dedication, and loving relationships. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
