Obituary

Sister Carrie Lee Macon Williams was one of 13 children born to the late Leona Macon and James on April 11, 1939.

She departed this life September 21, 2022 at the age of 83.

Sister Williams confessed in Christ at the age of 13. She later joined Harrison Grove Baptist Church where she served as a faithful church member.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Lee Williams, two sons, Jeffrey Williams and Johnny Goodwin and 9 siblings, Robert C Macon, Annie Pearl Macon, James Macon, Jr. Pearlie Mae Collins, Willie Lee Harris, Bennie Lee Harris, Dorothy Jean Barber and Lucy B Cotton.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, four daughters, Debora Williams (Jess Doss) of Brooksville, MS, Doretha (Ronnie) Harps of St. Louis MO, Janice Smith of Macon, MS and Tommie Jean Reed of Greenville, MS; three sons, Pastor Billy J. (Ann Walker) Goodwin of Macon, MS, L.C. (Feleshia Lawson) Williams of Arlington, TX and Charles E. Williams of Macon, MS; sister-in-law, Minnie Rose. She also leaves 18 grandchildren and 21 great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
