Obituary

Pastor Coretta Randolph was born on December 7, 1968, to Lorine Swanigan and the late Collier Swanigan Sr.

She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and later in life she joined Miracle Valley Holy Ghost Temple #2 under the leadership of Pastor Napoleon Jackson. In 1995 she was called in to ministry and started her ministry in 2017 overcoming Ministries, where she remained a member until death. She was employed at Robinson Janitorial for 3 years when her health declined.

During her lifetime, she enjoyed traveling and singing with her mother and father. Pastor Coretta made her transition on November 24, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Pastor Coretta  was preceded in death by her father, Collier Swanigan; brother, Earl Swanigan and sister, Jeanette Cockrell.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her husband, Kenneth Randolph; daughters, Chrissandra (Henry) Miller and Crystal Swanigan; one son, DeAndre Bankhead all of Columbus, MS; her ten grandchildren; a very special baby, O'Daya Swanigan; her mother, Lorine Swanigan; one sister, Angel (Julius) Wilson; five brothers, Victor Swanigan, Collier (Princeana) Swanigan Jr, Jerry (Michelle) Swanigan, Michael Swanigan and Martin Swanigan; brother-in-law, Johnny Cockrell of Columbus, MS; sister-in-law, Marcella Swanigan of Hudson, NY; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
