Detarrie' Unee Young was born September 30, 1978, in Columbus, MS to Elijeah Young and Mary Young.

She made her transition to the afterlife on Friday, May 10, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Detarrie's everlasting memories will be cherished by her loving parent and her:  children: Cadaijah (Jeremiah) Lang, Caniyah and Caleyah Congious, all of Columbus, MS;  brother: Deonthra (Glenda) Young of Savannah, GA; sister: Dorsey(Maurice) Williams of Columbus, MS; a Special Friend: Ernesto Congious of Columbus, MS; Best Friend: Denesha Johnson and Second Mother: Antoinette (Roy) Howard all of Columbus, MS; two nieces: TaMaryann Hemphrill of Columbus, MS and Deasia Young of Charlotte, NC; four nephews: Deonthra Doughty, Jr. and Deairus Young both of Charlotte, NC, Tarriquik Young of Columbus, MS and Tyler Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
