Devorris Vantreal Hill went home to be with the Lord September 3, 2025, at Baptist Memorial-Golden Triangle Hospital.
Devorris Vantreal Hill, affectionately known as "Hot Pocket" was born August 30, 1984, to Glenda Hill and Oscar Boyd. Devorris was a father, brother, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Christ Missionary Baptist Church and later joined KVC also known as Kingdom Vision International Church. He attended Columbus High School, and after completing school he went on to work for Cooper Tires and MS Steel Processing.
Devorris is remembered for his infectious smile and kind heart.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Oscar L Boyd (Ivean Boyd), Muggie Hill and Walter Hill; aunts, Hazel Bland, Shirlene Hill Reed; uncles, Minister Cleotis Hill and Walter Hill Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memorial his mother, Glenda Ann Hill of Columbus, MS; one son, Keston Hill of Columbus, MS; sisters, Karenda Hill (Jaquise Frison) of Columbus, MS, Tanesha Hill of Columbus, MS and India Boyd of Macon, MS; brothers, Antonio Hill of Columbus, J. Shawn Boyd of Birmingham, AL and Jalontae Harris of Hattiesburg, MS; aunts, Lola Hill, Brenda (Ernest) Jones, Linda Hill, Veeletha Hill and Margaret Weston all of Columbus, MS; and a host of cousins nieces, nephews, family and friends.
