Donald Lee Lockett, also known as Don was born on September 16, 1962 in Lowndes County, MS to the late Eddie James Lockett Jr. and Essie Walker Lockett.

He accepted Christ during his early childhood.  He was a resident of the East Mississippi State Hospital, Meridian, MS.  He was relocated to Alpha and Omega Groupe Home in Jackson, MS.

Donald departed this life on January 17, 2024 in Jackson, MS.  He was preceded in death by his parents:  his father, Eddie James Lockett, Jr. and    mother, Essie Walker Lockett.

He leaves to mourn his siblings: his brother, Dr. Robert J. Walker of Walls, MS; sisters, Diane King of San Antonio, TX, Dortha Hayden (Rickey) and Tammy Henry (Kenneth) of Columbus, MS. Donald also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
