Obituary

Dora B. Robinson Eddins entered this world on May 15, 1947, in Macon, MS to Eris Robinson Sr. and Mary Lyons Robinson. She attended and completed her education at B. F. Liddell High School in Macon, Mississippi and received her diploma in 1968. She was married to James Eddins, and of this union one daughter was born, Kimberly Lashay Eddins (Punkin).

After High School, Dora began a career in Culinary Arts that spanned over 30 years. Dora was a cook at Kountry Kitchen in Columbus, MS.  Dora enjoyed keeping in touch with her family and relatives. She was an all-around friendly and loving person; nobody was a stranger to her. She was also very active at her church, Christ Deliverance Center.

Dora confessed Christ at an early age at Christian Hill M.B. Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Bobby Bowen in Macon.  Her most recent church membership was Christ Deliverance Worship Center in Columbus, MS where she served as an usher, Financial Treasurer, hospitality overseer, and dedicated member.

Dora departed this life on June 25, 2025, in Columbus, MS. She is preceded in her death by her parents: Eris Robinson, Sr. and Mary Lyons Robinson; siblings, Edward Robinson, Carrie Rice, Rev. Coleman Robinson, Sr., Inell Robinson Bennet, Lougene Robinson Duck, Roberta Robinson Tate;
grandson, Baby Bobby L. Webber, Jr.;  sisters-in-law, Emma Lou Oliver (Willie), Eliza Davis (Chester), Jennie Lue Harris, and Mamie Bell (George) Baldwin; brothers-in-law, John Lee Eddins (Dora), and Willie Eddins.

Dora's memories will forever be cherished by: her daughter, Kimberly Lashay Eddins of Columbus, MS; her grand- daughter, Savannah Arriana McCarter of Columbus, MS; grandson, Alex LaCraig McCarter of Columbus, MS; sibling, Clarence (Willie Dale) Robinson, Doris (Willie) Perry, Teresa James (Joe), and Eris Robinson Jr.; sister-in-law Mary Eddins; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews; special friends, Alma Chambliss of Crawford, MS and Audrey Jones of Columbus, MS.
