Easter Pearl Davis was born September 23, 1945 in Noxubee County, MS to Addie B. and Isaac Joiner, Sr. She confessed Christ at an early age at Plum Grove M.B. Church. She recently rededicated her life to the Lord prior to her passing. Easter was employed with Johnston Tombigbee Furniture for over 40 years in special handling.

Easter transitioned from earthly life to heavenly life on May 6, 2023 in Columbus, MS. She is preceded in death by: her parents; her brothers: David Joiner and Isaac Joiner, Jr.; and her granddaughter, Antwanna S. Taylor.

Easter's legacy will forever be cherished by: her children, Roger Joiner, Mechelle Taylor and Renea (Glenn) Rogers-Rice all of Columbus, MS; her siblings: Willie Joiner, Eddie (Annie) Joiner,  Alice Joiner, Curtis Joiner and  Joyce Joiner-Manigo all of Columbus, MS, and James (Linda) Joiner of Montgomery, AL,; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
