Obituary

Ms. Ella Mae (Pie) Skinner, the daughter of the late Ollie and Lillie B. Williams, was born in Cliftonville, MS on June 14, 1941. She departed this life peacefully on Monday August 1, 2022.

Ella Mae Skinner accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined Christian Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She attended and graduated from Mary Holmes Community College. She dedicated 30 years of service to Noxubee County School District and retired as a teacher's aide in 2004.

Ella Mae Skinner was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Robert James Skinner, and one son, Gean Arthur Skinner, her sisters, Mattie Pearl Williams and Ollie B. Williams; five brothers, Charles, Arthur, Ule, John and Willie Williams.

Ella was married to the late Robert James Skinner and to this union four children were born: Brenda (James) Bush of Columbus, MS, Robert (Allie V.) Skinner Jr. of Brooksville, MS, Ronnie (Kesha) Skinner of Columbus, MS, Darrell Skinner of Brooksville, MS; and also her Godson, Larry (Dean) Moore of Brooksville, MS.

Ella Mae Skinner also leaves to cherish her memories: her siblings, James (Willie Mae) Williams, Eddie Williams, and Berniece Williams of Youngstown, OH, Lillie B. Johnson, Lester (Lillie Mae) Taylor, and Jessica Wells-Mosley of Brooksville, MS; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grand- children; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
