Emanuel "Jap" Mallard, Jr. was born April 1, 1959, to the late Emanuel Mallard, Sr. and Bessie Mae Mallard.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, Emanuel departed his life and went home to be with the Lord. His parents, Emanuel Mallard, Sr., and Bessie Mae Mallard, preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Two brothers Willie C (Annette) Mallard; James (Beverly) Mallard, both of Jackson, MS. Four sisters Dorothy Mallard and Catherine Mallard, both of Brooksville, MS; Mary (William) Smith of Demopolis, AL and Velma (Early) McCaa of Tuscaloosa, AL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved and will miss him dearly.
