Essie Lee Brewer Jr, 64, passed away on December 5, 2023.

On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, the Lord called one of his servants home to rest, Essie Lee (aka Hot) Brewer, Jr.

Essie Lee was born October 18, 1959, in Prairie Point, MS to the late Essie Lee, Sr and Mary Pearl Brewer.

Essie Lee spent many years working at Boral Brickyard in Macon, MS where he always displayed good work ethics. He would lend his helping hands in the Lucas Hill community helping out where needed, and he often time cooked at events in Alabama. He enjoyed connecting and conversing with family and friends in-and-around the community, and was a very loving, kindhearted person towards his family and friends. Other than spending time with family, he enjoyed sitting under the tree or on the porch watching cars pass by.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Essie Lee, Sr, and Mary Pearl Brewer.

Essie Lee leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Latoria Tate Jackson of Columbus, MS; bonus-sons, Tony Tate of Macon, MS and Anthony Clark of Biloxi, MS; and a very special friend, Hattie Clark of Macon, MS; brothers, Anthony Brewer (Ruthie), Robert Lee Brewer (Diane), Derry Brewer (Chanda), Darry Brewer (Alice) all of Macon, MS and Major Brewer (Adrienne) of Brooksville, MS; sisters, Carlean Roby (Theodis-deceased), Earlean Washington  (Ulysses), Mamie Brewer; Shirley Skinner (Emmit); Minnie Brewer, Victoria Allen (Patrick), Bessie Brewer all of Macon, MS; Lisa Sterling (Elijah) of Columbus, MS and Hattie Harris of Clarksdale, MS; two grandchildren, Lailah and Jaylyn; one great-grandchild, Ja'Karter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.
