Ms. Frances Mae Richards on May 22, 1952, in Columbus, MS to the late Dick and Julia Richards.

She departed this life on December 27, 2022, at West Point Living Center.
She attended EMCC in Mayhew, MS. she also worked for Johnson Tombigbee and Fairway Ice Company in Columbus, MS. She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Pelier in Mayhew, where she was a faithful member until her health started to fail. She also was on the Choir and a member of the usher board.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dick and Julia Richards; one son Willie Coleman; one daughter Rachel Richards; one grandson, Jeremiah Richards; two sisters, Ethel McColister and Mary Taylor.

Frances loving and wonderful memories will be cherished by her daughter, Sonya Coleman of Columbus, MS; her four sons, Monre (Dymond) Richards of Yazoo, MS, James Richards of Columbus, MS, Johnny Coleman Sr. and Thomas Richards both of West Point, MS; one sister, Peggy Jones of Shaw, MS; two brothers, Willie James Richards and Rev. Willie Lee (Santia) Richards all of Columbus, MS; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild, Kamarjai Richards; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
