Fred Will Goodwin's Obituary
Fred Will Goodwin, 79, died April 16, 2023, at his residence. Mr. Goodwin was born on March 16, 1944, to the late Georgie Mary Hairston and Rufus Goodwin. He was a member of Harrison Grove M.B. Church and was formerly employed by Universal Blastco.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He is survived by his children, Dorothy Dent of Brooksville, Tolita Dowd of Irvin, Texas, Tiffany Bardley of Macon, Anneasha Johnson and Fredricka Johnson, both of Columbus, Frederick Dowd of Pomona, Kansas, Al "Peter" Sherrod of Gwinnett, Georgia; brothers, Earnest Goodwin and Theodis Stevenson, both of Columbus and Roy Goodwin of Brooksville; a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bernard L. Phinizee Jr., Cameron Phinizee, Rodney Sherrod, Sammie Latham, Halfred Dora, John Dora and Larry Barnette.
